I took my personal and business taxes to Liberty taxes at 7113 Broadway St Pearland, Texas 77581 two weeks ago and still waiting to get my return from them. My first appointment was on 2/12/24 at 12:00pm get there no one was there called them after waiting 15 minutes and the wife answers KuTrina and stated was I at the location of course I'm at the location I have an appointment then she proceeded to say we will be there 10 minutes later they show up. The second appointment was scheduled on 2/23/24, and I get a call from the wife stating they needed to reschedule due to my business taxes was still in review with the corporate office and would have to reschedule my appointment for today 2/25/24 at 10:00am I get there and no one is there again I called several different numbers they have and left messages I am here for my appointment I've been waiting for 19 minutes and at this point I just want my W2 back ASAP and I will NEVER EVER DO business with them again so unprofessional.

I went to Liberty Tax Services for the first time to handle my 2023 return.
The girl helping me was new and had the manager check over my return several times.
The manager that looked over everything was on a personal call the entire time I was there. Seemed very unprofessional.
I told my preparer that I had seen a coupon online and wanted to use it for this visit.
She skipped over my question and said we would get to that.
Upon leaving and receiving my copies of the paperwork, I again asked how much I owe and was not given a total.
I thought it was strange, so when I got home I reviewed all the paperwork and there was nothing stating my total for the tax preparation service.
Now, fast forward a couple weeks, I get a $17 refund from JTHF.
After doing some investigating, I figured out that Liberty took $200 from my return as their payment. (This was never explained and have nothing in writing)
I never received any invoice stating the total. And they are trying to say they gave me $411 off the total of $611.
Are you kidding me...
I only pay $138 to H&R Block every year so how can this be possible and LEGAL!
BEWARE! THEY ARE LIARS AND VERY RUDE WHEN CONFRONTED!

Crooks! Scammers!
I was quoted one price of 220$. After I received my federal I went to liberty tax to pay the 220$. The account told me it was 399$!!!! When I asked why after you quoted me 220$.
His response was it cost more to file for the child tax credit! They never wrote down that the total cost was 220$. I have no proof of this on any of my tax documents. I was in complete disgust I asked if I could pay the difference when I received my state income tax.
The account ended up calling me back and said I already paid the 399$ and for me to come pick up the 220$. I thought this was odd but figured once I get my state income tax then see what happens. Well I never received my state income tax. I contacted the IRS and was told it was put into a checking account which wasn't mine.
It was liberty taxes account. I then contacted liberty tax and was told I should have received the balance from my state income tax of 31$ . This still made no sense. I asked if I owe you 399$ from my 485$ income tax where is the 55$ difference.
I was then told I was charged a 54$ transfer fee! Never again will I go here.
Not only did I get ripped off. The account never put me as head of household.
Lesson learned. So much for your online coupon.
